What it actually means

Short for 'charisma'. Having rizz means you're smooth with people you're attracted to. Someone with no rizz is awkward. You can also 'rizz someone up', meaning to win them over.

Where it came from

Popularised by streamer Kai Cenat around 2022, then chosen as Oxford's Word of the Year in 2023.
